We hope you are able to include a trip to the Mayne Island Brewing Co. in your visit to Mayne Island. They have on-site beer sales and an outdoor tasting area nestled amongst the trees. It's usually open at 1PM, check their sign out front, and their Instagram for details.

Farmgate is our grocery store of choice on the island. It’s like a curated Whole Foods, and features local products from the island and around BC. The produce is organic, in season and fresh, they have a deli with house-made sandwiches, take-away and eat-in meals, and a selection of natural bath and beauty products.

The Mayne Island Farmer’s Market is open from the May Long Weekend to Thanksgiving, from 10am-1pm. Don’t miss it! Local artisans, delicious treats, produce, flowers and live music will surely make for a memorable day. While you’re there, remember to check out the thrift shop across the street - it’s a thrifters dream-come-true ;-)

The Tru Value is your go-to grocery store for so many essentials. It has everything from meat and produce to canned goods, oat milk, all the snacks teenagers want on their vacation, and a deli, too. Right next door is a bakery with sweet treats, coffee, milkshakes and ice cream!

The Trading Post is the place for beer, wine, cider and liquor. They have some essentials, like snacks and coffee, and some local fruit in the summer.

Smoke and Thyme is the place to get your BBQ. He's got brisket, fires, poutine, smash burgers... And a ton more. The food truck is located right by the ferry terminal, you can't miss it. Check out the instagram for more info. Usually open Friday - Tuesday 11am-6pm.

The Bennet Bay Bistro is attached to the Mayne Island Resort + Spa. The menu features Ocean Wise seafood, made to order comfort dishes created with fresh ingredients and a wide selection of beer and wine. Call ahead to make a reservation or you might not get a table!

Seriously awesome wood-fired pizza made from scratch using only premium ingredients. Come and experience the best pizza you may ever have, listen to some classics, and enjoy the atmosphere and beauty of Mayne Island! This tiny little gem is located in the downtown area, right off the Tru Value foods parking lot.

The Local is your friendly hole-in-the-wall with a great vibe, games, specials, and so much more. Open for lunch and dinner Wednesdays through Mondays. It's located next to Farmgate market.
